Fabulous! On the invis zip, it's truly the easiest zip there is. Every so often BWOF's have a tutorial. Have a look (almost all of mine are in the post en route to Europe now).

I don't know how I missed this when you first reviewed it, but belated kudos! I just finished a fitted Burda skirt (8214) with the same mid-thigh fitting issues. Worth it in the end though, definitely! I think I need this pattern too, based on your review :-)

I am about to try this so great to reread your review and look at all your pictures. And yes the invisible zipper is sewn onto the right side of the fabric (without the seam below sewn). Try googling invisible zipper instructions.
