When I saw the fabric I thought those were ducks and I said, "Well, that's just ducky!" (ducky was good at one time--I think its use dates me) Then I read these are loons. I can't say, "That's just looney" because it takes on a whole 'nother meaning. (lol) I read every word of your review and once again marvelled at how masterfully you handle so many diverse facts and weave them all together to tell the story of the project. With me, it's a lot of "Oh, yeahs" and "BTWs" and "I forgot to mentions," so your apparently effortless (and I know it isn't effortless--it just looks that way because it's done flawlessly) weaving together all the facts is astonishing! Loved the crosswise/fringe commentary, the possible use of plush elastic on a future gown, and how you handled the seams--just so informative.

This sounds like a great summer nightgown idea.

You're so right, this is a great nighty pattern! I particularly like that it's not TOO full (nor too skimpy). It's JUST RIGHT, as Goldilocks would say -- ha!
