Great job on altering the pattern to make a hospital gown. What a kind hearted gesture to make gowns for the hospitalized children. When you make your next version with split sleeves, I would suggest snap tape instead of velcro. Velcro picks up so much lint in the laundry that it significantly decreases the "stickiness". I know from washing all those baby bibs which close with velcro. Hardly any of them stick anymore.

Your model is so cute! You're awesome to make gowns for the sick children, I am sure they appreciate wearing something so bright and colorful when they might be having a very gloomy time being in the hosptial.
