Although I'm not necessarily a huge fan of parents/kids in matching clothes, these are really handsome, and I'll bet the little one enjoys having a vest to match his dad. Also, with black pants and a cape, a red vest makes a terrific vampire costume. Plus, scoring points with the MIL is never a bad thing!

Skymom - I hadn't even thought of using it for a costume. Hmmm....maybe that will be what he wears for Halloween....he has a party at his karate dojo. My son and Hubby don't often dress alike, but they both thought this was a good idea. Every CHristmas, however, DH and DS have matching flannel pajama pants and DD and I have matching pants....*never* to be worn out of the house...lol. Hopefully, this will make my MIL happy, though she might not like the background I saw....black and white castle-like background...lol
