I think all your modifications are spot on - looking at the pattern and your changes, they are exactly what I would have wanted to do too - especially the way the ties work and their length. It does look really good and it would be great to see it on you with your capris on holiday!

Your changes produced a perfect summer top, fo shizzle. I think having the ties at the back waist makes the front less prone to gaping as well. Bonne voyag-ie!

HA! Knew it was you. :) This looks perfect for a sunny resort. I actually like the larger collar. It will look especially good with your graceful neck.

I had the exact same issues with this top that you did, although I was too lazy to make the changes. Your solution to the tie problem looks great. I'm sure this will be a great top for you vacation. Have fun!

Lots of lots of drafting changes! You are getting really good at this. The top is very cute and fits your dress form very well. Have fun wearing it on vacation.

I love the way your top came out! I've had this one (aging in my stash) and I always thought the ties came through the side seams just like you made yours. Guess I didn't look that close! Thanks for the tips-if I ever make this I'll be referring to your review!

I am currently working out the bugs of this pattern and finding the same issues, ties too short, needs a side slit, changing the darts, etc. But, your review gives me hope and great tips, thanks so much Leslie
