Belinda, Your muslin looks great. I have made this and agree about the extra waist shaping and also that its one of those patterns that need a body ibside to look right.

Wow, that's some muslin! This is beautiful as it doesn't have that homemade look - it looks like an expensive ready to wear - I love the color!

As soon as I clicked on the picture, I was struck by how flattering this top is. I usually (sorry, ladies) don't love the way it looks, at least on larger-busted gals. Too much emphasis where it's not needed.

Such a great top - I love the smaller higher twist. A huge improvement. And your forward shoulder alteration for the sleeve is so obvious once I saw it. Much easier for me to understand than anything else I've seen.

This was an excellent review, not that I want to make the top, but that you used a tip found here on PR that I've been curious about...the sleeve alteration. Also, your tip on using a box to move the armhole down is great. It's easier for me to understand that way and I'll be using it as well. I use a box in the upper armhole to drop the front and raise the back shoulder seams for my rolled shoulders. Great review! I'll be looking for more by you.
