What a great idea to modify the pattern for your MIL. I think it is so wonderful that you saw a need she had and adapted a pattern to make her more comfortable. Great job!

I made up this pattern as well when I was pregnant. Now that I look at it again, I think that the tops may be modified for non nursing wear as well. The tops are long gone and the babies are born, but the patterns remain ...
