I am wondering if you could you make some alteration changes to the bodice to create a better fit? From what I can see of the dress it looks really cute.

Very pretty dress. What fitting issues did you have? You might want to look it up in a fitting adjustment book or ask about it on the message board.

Rebeka, this is a very pretty dress, albeit you are disappointed with the fit. The pattern may need just a little easy to do tweaking. Feel free to ask for help on the message boards. If you post a photo of you modelling your dress, it is easier to spot exactly what alterations you might need. Congratulations on writing your first review :))

Welcome Rebeka! How did you determine what size bodice to use? Most patterns need alterations. The best time to make them is before you cut your garment out, but you could make your alterations on this garment to create a fitting muslin that you will use a pattern to create your next garment which will no doubt be fabulous! It's also a very good idea to model your garment and ask for feedback. We have a lot of very talented people who generously share their expertise.

Welcome to PR. You should take your measurements before you choose your pattern. Before you tackle your skirt measure your waist and hips.

Patterns aren't necessarily "true to size", and they are completely different than RTW sizes! In addition to the previous suggestions, I'll add to compare the finished garment measurements against yours - making certain to allow some extra space for "ease" - when determining what size, or sizes, to make. Welcome to PR.
