I'm particular about the neck ties/closures on retro aprons too. Thanks for the comment on that. I'm making an apron for my new sis-in-law and chose the new fabrics from Amy Butler. I designed a chef's apron with a long 1-inch wide tie that goes around the neck and through the top sides of the apron (hope you can imagine that). So all she has to do is tie it from the back or bring the ties to the front for a more modern look. The bib height of the apron also becomes very adjustable. Perhaps I'll post a review with pics very soon. I'm just trying to figure out how I'm going to store pictures. This part is all very confusing to me.
