Great apron, love your fabric choices. I have been using home dec fabrics for aprons for years. They wear well and you can often find 1 yard pieces in the remnant bins at give-away prices.

Great apron! I love the idea of using a D-ring to eliminate the neck "knot".

Gorgeous apron, lucky friend ! The print with coordinating fabric makes for a very stylish looking apron. The extra time you have taken makes it into an apron you would find in an upmarket store. The D ring is a super idea Lois, those bows/knots behind the neck can be uncomfortable.

What great coordinating prints - they make a stylish apron. No wonder your friend was thrilled!
