Can't wait to see the pictures! The only tip I can think of is the make sure you let the garment hang at least 24 hours before you hem.

Love this pattern. Hope to see the pics soon. I may have to find that book and read about cowl stays. I alway dislike the way mine hang. Really enjoyed this review.

Wow that was fast. I requested this review just yesterday. Thanks for sharing your review AND letting us see the beautiful fabrics! I almost bought this at the recent pattern sale, but I wasn't sure. Now I will definitely keep it on my wish list.

What a beautiful blouse!! Thanks for the great review. I keep thinking that this could be lengthened into a fantastic dress. Would it require a huge amount of fabric??

Betty, it's funny, I just suggested this pattern to Bettina the day you requested it, so it was fresh in my mind. Rusti, I think that you can lengthen this into a dress without any problems. This would make a wonderful fit and flare dress. I'd add a side zipper to it. The only caveat is that you might want to cut it one size bigger than you normally wear. I made a bias dress (it was my previous review on PR), and I found that unless I cut it generously, it hit in some places that (after two kids!) I would rather it didn't. :) Oh yeah - I would recommend at least 4 yards for a dress - make a muslin first and use it for the pattern.

Hi Ann, this pattern is so goodlooking, that I'll probably have to buy it, and your fabric is absolutely gorgeous, I'm a succer for flover motives.
