Welcome to your first review! And even more to your first sewing project!! This was a perfect choice, as the chances of success are high (although bias waistline edges can give trouble - but you had a nice stable fabric so that helps) and the style is likely to hang nicely so be satisfying as a final product. Augers well for your carrying on to greater heights. Sadly the photo is a 'black cat photographed at night in a coal cellar" - nice view of your calves and jandals. Cheers!

Thanks! Ugh, didn't realise the pic was so bad. That's what I get for writing a review so late at night! Replaced it with one of my carpet wearing it.

Congrats on your skirt! It was a good choice, and you should get a lot of wear out of it.

Excellent effort Sirvinya, what inspired you to have a go. What experience did you have in any form of using a sewing machine. Great start. you will soon be addicted, materials patterns etc. a small bit of advice. Plan your projects. do one at a time then buy your next piece of material for the project. regards keep us informed how you are progressing.
