An easy to sew style that looks nice? Sounds like a keeper. It's probably worth making again w/ that FBA. Go check out the FBA thread. They say it's fairly easy once you get used to it. (Not an adjustment I need! )

the neckline is fine. it's just the gap under the arm, but i'll make sort of like darts from the arm hole to the bust area. my mom told me to do that.

Can't see the pictures, but squinting at the thumbnail it looks like it fits you well. But yes, it also looks like you should be getting used to FBA because I see a lot of them in your future :-).. Don't worry, once you see what a difference they make in fit you'll become a fanatic too.

I set the pictures to public, i hope you can see them now. I thought they were automatically public. sorry and about the fba. i actually cut a pattern already with an fba, but i haven't sewn it yet. i'll see how it turns out, i hope i did it right. somehow i don't quite understand the fba instructions. maybe if i found a video or something.

That is so weird. Ok, I made an album for the pictures and made it public, i hope it works now. Do i need to be signed in to yahoo for others to view the pictures? I don't know, but i'll just stay signed in all the time.

I can see your pictures, so you must have figured it out. :o) I bet you'll be able to fix this one with the darts in the armhole, as you said, and next time you can do the FBA. It's a very flattering pattern on you. Nice job!

Springer - FBA stands for Full Bust Adjustment. It is one of the most common pattern adjustments made since 99% of all patterns are drafted to a B cup and the average woman wears a C cup. Once you make this small pattern adjustment gobs of fitting problems will be solved - garments riding back and choking you, gaps, pulling, swimming in shirts in the shoulder area, etc. Read the FBA thread on pattern review or search tips.
