Irina, you should model for Vogue--the jacket is lovely, and you'd never know it has dropped shoulders. I also like your "assistant!"

That colour is very becoming on you. Love the jacket and the sewing assistant. He looks rather bored though. I think you should sew something with ribbon next.

I love the fabric you made this out of and it looks super on you. I agree you would not know it had a dropped shoulder. Why is it that cats insist on laying on the opject you are working on???

Irina, as usual, another stunning creation. I'm amazed that light weight denim worked so well on this pattern: the envelope picture looks like a much drapier (word??) fabric. Thanks for review and enjoy your great jacket.

Like you I loved this pattern the minute I saw it, can't wait until it's on sale here. The fabric colour looks great on you. And I love your sewing assistant, mine covers my stuff with white hairs!

Thanks Irina for the review - I always have to lengthen patterns and I will have to think about how to handle that flounce as well. BTW - I have 3 "sewing assistances" and it's a special day when the four of us get to spend a whole day in the sewing room.

I also found this jacket pattern to have classic flair. I will follow your suggestion and look for a solid color fabric of high quality. I also think this could make up fancy or plain. Your jacket is beautiful!
