You can wear plaids. I think they look great on you. I keep contemplating making some wide-legged pants like these, but am fairly short so I don't know if they will work for me. I guess I should try & find out, as you did!

Thanks for the great review on the pants pattern. I'm about to make a pair with stretch "denim". You know, it's difficult to find real denim in the stores any more. I've always admired Ms. Kemper's style, too, but I bought this pattern b/c it makes me think of the pants worn by Hollywood starlets during the 1940's. I love the side zip as well. I only wish your photo link still worked! :-)
