Beautiful dress on you. I love the black trim around the neckline, sleeves and bottom of top--all very elegant. What did you use for the trim and how did you attach it? Your dress looks very much better than the pattern envelope.

Harriet--the dress pattern has the pieces and directions for cutting and placing the trim--I never would have figured it out on my own! All the trim is bias-cut from fabric of your choice. I used black velveteen.

Very cute style, and it looks great on you. In addition to your "classy" fabric, this would be fun in a bold print for a completely different look.
