From the illustration on the pattern envelope I would never have guessed that such an elegant skirt would be the result ! It looks fantastic on you - nice fluid lines and a good length.

Very cute skirt! I'm drawn to the bubble skirts, but they're usually too poufy, as you say. Your fabric choice makes this very wearable, and very chic.
