Looks great, love the fabric. I had the same kind of "huh" reaction to the neckline instructions when I made this last summer.

Your top looks nice. But I think it's sort of rude to link to your blog to read about any problems with this pattern instead of including them in the review and then I had to endure an ugly personal rant on top of that.

How lowcut is this top? It's hard to tell from the picture and this view isn't shown on a model on the pattern envelope.

Irina, the neckline is not terribly low cut. It lands 4 1/2 inches below the base of my throat, and doesn't show any cleavage. Thanks for the nice comments everyone!

Lovely top! I just took pics of mine today of the same view :) . The neckline with the gathers is so flattering IMO, but yeah...weren't those weird neckband instructions?!?! I was thinking maybe this is some new technique, but no. Just a weird, alternate method of gathering to fit.

Anne, I think you've created a virtual stampede with this pattern. I just finished making up this version in a pretty, rayon/lycra blend from FFC, and it is so pretty! It fits beautifully, and the gathers make it so feminine. I can't wait to try the wrap top, and thanks so much for your tutorial on the fba on that!
