Cindy, I joined, requested a review for this pattern, and your posting was made the same day! Thank you VERY much. I would like to make pants with some teal pinwale corduroy in my stash and am debating between this pattern and S&S 756 (Pull-on-Pants with Pockets). I shall look out for crotch adjustment. I am a couple of inches shorter than you--sort of average torso, with notably short limbs. I made several pairs of short from S&S 785 (review forthcoming) this summer, and only adjusted leg length and width. However, that pattern has elastic all around (no front pleats), so a little extra room would not have mattered much.

Thanks for the review, Cindy. These pants look very similar to the OOP Simplicity 9589 I've been making for years. I'll have to check it out!
