As many of us have noted with KS baby patterns, they seem to be designed for a bulky cloth diaper underneath. When making KS pants for my dgd, I had to cut down the waist by at least 1", or else they would come up to her armpits! These quick projects can be gratifying, though, and yours look very nice.
