Thanks for the review. I just bought this pattern for my daughter and was wondering about the fit. I will cut a size smaller since she will not want to layer.

I've made this top too. Good point about the weight of the hood pulling the V open somewhat. Probably even more so when the hood is doubled. I like that idea, though, especially if you are using a fabric with a very obvious back to it. Doubling would eliminate the back from showing. Great review!
