Pattern Description:
panties and camisole. Pattern Sizing:
XS-L Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Very much
Were the instructions easy to follow?Oh yes...minutes each...made both in less than an hour
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? These are super quick. Both are made with stretch lace and no edge work is required.
Fabric Used: 8" stretch lace for View C Brazilian and 6" stretch for View B hipster/thong hybrid with tricot outer piece. Both have cotton knit crotch pieces
*****ETA fabric vendors *******
I got the stretch lace for all these at several vendors...sewsassy.com has some. It can be a challenge to find specific widths and colors. The selection is constantly changing. there is another website (can't remember right now..in FLA?) but I found these three a bit more affordable. I emailed everyone about inventory and got lucky. Soon I will have undies in blue and green and white and black and purple and ...

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I would most definitely recommend this pattern. I reviewed Both McCall 5651 and Jalie 2568 and I definitely like this pattern better. I think the difference between the front and back curve on the Kwik Sew Brazilian view C makes it a better fit kwik sew View C back and front. I will say that the difference is rather negligible now that I have worn both pairs.
I do like that View B has you make the crotch piece (half cotton half fashion) then turn it tube fashion so all the seams are inside AND I like that the back piece is skinny.
Unlike the McCalls the sizing was true on both the Jalie and Kwik Sew. And the sizing was consistent between the two versions B and C B and C compare
I'm not crazy about how the crotch is essentially appliqued on the hipster but it seems to be standard application in all the patterns.
ConclusionI definitely will be making more of these. This is the keeper pattern of the three. You should note that while View A and B look alike on the pattern envelope, they are shaped differently in the back. I plan on trying view A soon. It could be made with stretch lace fabric, I think.
