Well, that's the pits that it didn't work out. It's such a cute look on the pattern too. (I have this pattern too.) I had a similar experience with a Simplicity pattern that had a wide (REAL wide) V-neck. I tried it twice, and couldn't really pin down what it was that wasn't working right, and finally decided life's too short. :o) I still say it's good to try different things, though, even if we think they won't work for us, because every once in a while we get surprised! :o) Nice attempt -- ha!

Well, we live and learn, don't we? It took me a long time in my life to figure out what looks good for my somewhat heavier thighs...then I "got it". We only learn by trial and error.

Nice to know the pattern went together nicely, and great heads-up for other folks w/ similar figures. Scoop neck tops look great on full-busted women; perhaps try one like that. I on the other hand to just fine with boat neck tops.
