Maia that turned out beautifully. Your pintucking is gorgeous. I'll go over to the discussion you've got going on this to discuss the pintucking not working with the foot you bought - but nevertheless, it may have been more work to fold and stitch, but it def looks to be worth it. I hope your niece treasures it.

wow, that is a work of art! Nice job! I was just reading a book titled "Linen and Cotton", and the author suggests cutting larger seam allowances with ravelly fabric. Based on your experience, if I ever sew with dupioni, I will try that trick. Thanks for sharing your beautiful project.
