I love this pattern - it just gives you so manyopportunities to use up interesting fabric. This is a great first bag, but I'm looking forward to the black and kimono fabric version too.

Wow... it's hard to believe this is your first handbag, and good on you for finding an affordable local substitute (and it worked so well!) Lastly-hi from an expat Lansingite :) living in Brussels. Oz--I'm so jealous!
