Love your jacket the material is wonderful
I made this patternup last night so simple to sew I used light weight denim and a red material from my quilting stash looks great. I made the small reversible version. In my haste to get it finished I didn't try it on unfortunately it is a bit wide in back need ti take a .5" seam cnetre back I am loath to reverse stitch all the top stiching etc and fix it as it will probably take longer than it took to make the jacket. I will definately be making this jacket pattern again Skye 1/22/03 10:40 PM

I didn't use iridescent threads. However, the bottom layer is gold lame, which adds quite a bit of sparkle. 3/3/03 8:51 PM

AnneM said... My sewing instructor made a faux chenille jacket (different pattern, though). (I had meant to comment on this when you first posted the review, and somehow it slipped by.) It really does look lovely, and she says it is very warm. Love your new safari version of this pattern also. 8/26/03 2:36 PM
