Congrats on your top. Don't feel bad about the stretch direction - I think we've all done that. Sounds like you might need to sew a smaller size (or perhaps just smaller for the back) next time around.

Your top looks cute. The next time you make it, it will be much easier and quicker. I agree with Anne, I would go a size smaller all the way around.
