Thanks for this review. I just finished a Kwik Sew project and you are absolutely right about the sleeve. They fit in beautifully! I have this pattern in the plus-size range, but I haven't tried to make it yet. Your review will be helpful to me when I make it.

I love the way this jacket has turned out in particular the pocket flaps. There is something wonderful about the curved shape - I think top stitching would have spoiled the look. Good call.

Oh yes the joys of topstitching on corduroy, yikes. I made this jacket(view A) in a stretch corduroy and had the same issues with the topstitching, it's not you or your machine, it IS the fabric. After pulling out the topstitching three times I just decided to live with it. And at 3 feet away it actually doesn't look that bad at all.
