Mmm. I'd wonder at interfacing in a knit top, or even facings at all. Why not try the classic bit of clear elastic in the turned-under neckline and leave it at that? The shoulders do look pretty wide in your picture, but nothing that couldn't be controlled with a tighter neckline. And of course lighter fabric with some lycra would be more suitable for this pattern, it'd -hold- better. Too bad for this one, because I like the color and I think it suits you well..

Hi fuzzygalore; you are probably right about the facing, who needs it? I have yet to master the clear elastic technique, all my attempts ended up in a mess. Next time, I'll use my favorite: fold over elastic ;-)

Looks nice but I can see your shoulder problem - think "fuzzygalore" has it right - lighter fabric - no facing and of course using a smaller size should go a long way to helping overcome this issue.

Cute top, but you're right, it does look a little too big for you. Once the fit issues are resolved, you'll have a great TNT! Great review!

Thanks for the tip on the shoulders. I want to make this and because my shoulders are wide I would have done the same thing you did. Thanks for saving me time!

Nice top. I think it already looks very good on you. Although a little looser, it still has shape and is flattering. You have been making some great clothing.

Marie, I just came across this top on your blog and had to look your review. I hope you get back to it now that you're back from Paris. I can't wait to see what else you do with the pattern. If this top isn't working for you, I don't know what would. It looks great.

As I was reading this review I would not buy the pattern because I have the same problems the sewer has. I have not figured out how to correct my problem yet so I would be hesitant to purchase this pattern
