Interesting. On this one too, the sleeves end up exactly the same length as the hips. You might take a look at the before and after photos from mlt's review and see whether you want to shorten the sleeves too. But it's adorable, I really need to get to mine, thanks for the inspiration :-).

Great job with your first jacket! I think if it were me, I wouldn't shorten the sleeves-- I'd line them with some REALLY funky, unexpected print (a very lightweight fabric) then roll the sleeves up so people know how truly hip you are on the inside. (Of course, I've never lined sleeves after the fact, so I'd have to think about how to do that... ;) ) Great first review!
