Shorts look great! I love this pattern also. Made my 4th pair today. Have modified with zipper under the back flaps and button up side tabs to make convertible capri and shorts.

I hate clothes that do this... crocking, it's called, I had a shirt that required its own old bra because everything within reach turned a sickly shade of green... Anyway, dye on denim ought to be fiber-reactive. Which means if you wash these in hot water with a handful or two of baking soda, they might just stop. They're too cute to avoid :-). Next time, when your hand turn colors as you sew, just throw out that fabric...
