Often if I can't find thread that goes with a mixed print, I look at the Sulky rack and see if there is a twist that works well. I usually use Sulky in the embroidery machine, but often they have a blended shade that works for hems.

Very pretty top. I love the drape of the fabric. My machine ate my fabric when I made this pattern also and really chewed up the elastic. I ended up with elastic in about half of the neckline before I gave up on it. I don't think you need it at all unless you have a knit with very little rebound.

I have been looking for a pattern with that much drape to a "cowl" collar. You have chosen a great fabric for this pattern and I bet it looks great on you. Charmaine

Thanks for the compliments, everyone, and for the Sulky suggestion, Kitty. I haven't found Sulky in stores around here, but I guess I will have to try the JoAnn that's in the area -- haven't been there yet, since it's farther from me than the smaller stores. Sounds like the elastic isn't necessary for this fabric. Thanks for the tip, Ann. Charmaine, the one problem I have with this fabric is that it is a bit thin, so I have to wear only very smooth things under this top.
