Lou, you look great! er, um, I mean, the shirt looks great. I made this view and decided it wasn't me. I made the non wrap version in linen and used some nice decorative stitching from the Carol Ahles book, Fine Machine Sewing. I love the turn back cuffs too. A nice pattern.

Thanks Mary :-) I can't decide whether I like the wrap bit or not :-( It's awkard to tie...I have also reviewed the non wrap version, and although I love it, I managed to mess the buttons up on that one! I shall have to make the 3rd view, and hope for a 3rd time lucky!!

I''ll have to check out that sleeve binding method that you mention. You should enter this into the "most romantic" contest. I still get that amazed feeling also when something comes out well!

I like the photo with the sewing machine in the background :) It has a "Dressmaker At Work" air about it. Your shirt looks good. Is the other pattern view longer than this one?

Your top doesn't look like the pattern picture! It looks MUCH better! Very attractive on you, for sure. I second the suggestion that you enter it in the Romantic contest!

How I envy you younger bunch (I am 42) who can wear the cute tops that show off your figure! Years ago when I could have shown my belly, it was NOT in style except in swimwear. Looks great on you, Congrats!

Lou, looks fabulous. I've traced this pattern out in the long sleeves version so I'll watch out for the length (at my height it shouldn't be a problem!)

Lou, all of your garments look great. My daughter would like all of these styles? Please tell me which pattern you used for the #1 and #2 tops of your album. and for the low cut pants. Thanks.

No 1, was KS 3032, NO. 2 KS 2694, and KS 2772. I find KS patterns a great fit for me especially in tops. I have reviewed the patterns mentioned also. I'm hoping to get my revised website online this weekend, so it'll be easier to see what's what! Can't wait to see the long sleeved version Mel.J.

Nice Lou! That'll be cute over a bikini and with the beach pants. Wonderful leisure wear for a vacation... want me to pick up some aloha print for that top? That'd be cute.
