I'd say you turned you're fabric faux pas into a "Creative Opportunity" I really like this but would never have thought to color block this pattern. Great success story!

PS. So do you like the Today's Fit sizing or not?

Rennie, I think it's like any pattern. You may want to depart from "your" size to get the fit that you prefer. I will make this in Slinky next and plan on going down to a B. I will report back.

Your shirt is beautiful! What you made looks even nicer than what is on the pattern envelope!

You did a great job on this, I love the color blocking, I'm inspired to try this now. What fabric did you use for this, it works beautifully.

Melody, I used a polyester sweater knit from Glick Textiles. It has about 25% stretch. I would definitely go down in size more if using a stretchier fabric. If you're unsure, don't worry, this is very easy to take in until you like the fit.

Gigi, I had the same experience with the blouse coming thru the openeing! I did follow heer advice for stabilizing, and it workd well for me. One thing I MUST know...what pattern is that brown sweater set? I love it!

Penny, the brown sweater set is from Loes Hinse, it's a very nice pattern. There are several reviews on it.

I have made this aswell and yes it does look very flattering as long as you stay very still ! I had to readjust it all evening when I wore it. Very annoying and not very asurring I think the Fabric ties are just to heavy and pull the top . I might try making it again but replace fabric ties with Ribbon. And prehapsl try the "inside tie" idea aswell.
