Wonderful turn out on this caftan. I love the covered buttons and how you artfully placed the colors. I know we looked at the regular ball buttons, but these look so much better and add an element of class. Your nieghbor looks very happy with the results, and you did your normal excellent precise sewing on her garment.

OP Gal, you did a beautiful job! And what a great way of helping your neighbor while she helps you - bartering never had it so good! You know, I love this type of caftan/lounge garment and there just aren't many patterns for these any longer! I've got a pattern drawer half full of older patterns that I've saved through the years for just such garments, but I've never seen this particular one. It has lovely details!

Great combo of vintage pattern and vintage fabric. Very perky and cute! I guess bartering is alive and well!
