the pj's turned out great, Mariko! The piping looks especially nice. I laughed at your comment about your husband buying you a serger~ my dh bought me one a few years ago and I only within the last year started using it regularly :o) but it was definately well spent, my sewing has really gotten much better(not to mention faster and easier) because of it. Thanks for the review!

Love all three pj's and the men in your life will, too, no doubt. The piping looks just great. Does your "bulky overlook foot" have cut outs on the bottom, for "riding" over and holding the piping in place? My Kenmore has a foot like that, and it worked just great on cording for pillows and even gathered cording, as I recall, for a duvet cover made some years ago. I love gadgets that make sewing easier.

Beautiful job on all! They make some monster metal sew on snaps you could use, too.

What a neat set! I'm sure you'll get great use out of your serger too. Serger neophytes might like "The Complete Serger Handbook." I think it's the best book on the market!
