Thanks for the advice about this pattern. I have it at home and have made another one from the series that I liked so am ready to try this one too. The part about the skirt is helpful and I'll be careful. Do you have a picture? I'm sure it's a very cool dress!

DON'T LINE this skirt, unless you are using a light weight material. FALSE hem it instead, and it will be much nicer!

The bodice is supposed to be flat-lined to be period-correct. I don't know of any dresses from that era that were bag-lined.
