Well, the end effect is very nice. I expect that the bias binding is a practice issue. Were the snaps easy to apply? I keep telling myself that I have to check into it for fleece wear.

This is very cute. I have several friends having babies this year, so I'm on the lookout for good gift ideas!

Anne, the snaps were easy. If you order from snapsource.com you can also order a snap setter from them that works on their snaps. Very easy and instructions have pictures. Thanks!

I haven't worked with fleece before, but since it doesn't ravel..you may have been able to skip the bias tape application. Buttonholes are just a slit in the fabric too, similiar to ultrasuede.

Very nice robe, I can appreciate the extra effort used! I have this pattern in my box, and am looking forward to making something for my nephew. I had looked at the snap tape, found it very expensive, so thank you for mentioning the snapsetter - which should be a better choice.
