PhyllisC said... Boning - yes indeed - coiled flat steel boning is the way to go. It bends side-to-side in addition to front and back. My sister-in-law said it was very comfotable in the gown I made for her. Lacis in San Francisco sells it in numerous pre-measured lengths. A good casing material for lingerie would be seam binding. They also sell caps so you can cut it yourself (with a heavy duty bolt cutter)....it doesn't shift or migrate if it's inserted properly. 3/5/03 12:47 PM

A stretch 'fits like a glove' dance dress will fit over the foundation 'leotard' and attach at the armholes, neckline and zipper, over the 'leotard'.
