Very pretty bag. I've been making quilted bags for a long time and I do quilt them myself; mostly for the reason you stated that there isn't a lot of choice available in the stores. You might try Fons & Porter's website because I think they might sell some pre-quilted fabrics. Was the poly/suede easy to sew? I've wondered about using stretchy fabrics for bags and a lot of that type fabric has a knit backside that makes it a bit stretchy. Anyway, nice job and nice review.

Thank you, I will check out Fons & Porter. I got some nice prequilted from a lady who has a shop in Canada. Her e-mail is bvd@mts.net (Bernice Van Damme) and she can e-mail you photos if you wish to inquire. The trim was a blanket binding material. It did have a knit backing but it was no problem using the even feed foot.
