Just wondering, do these pants gape or open up at the sides at all when you sit? I was thinking about making these as part of a music performance costume, but had some concerns about unintended leg exposure...

Congratulations on your first review. Looks like an easy and cute pair of pants -- A good pattern for a beginner. I think a lightweight, drapey fabric might work nicely with this wrap around style of pants.

Sounds like I need to add this pattern to my wish list. I made a similar pattern in the 60's when I was 20. Now during my sr. years it could serve as a beach cover-up suitable for double duty as a summer evening skirt/pants. Thank you for the review
