What a cute nightgown! Fabric is very cute print. Appreciated your idea of stretching & pressing the straps before attaching to main body. It makes perfect sense just never thought of it. Thanks for the review!

Thanks so much, everyone! Mary, if you decide to stretch out the straps, I've heard it's a good idea to get the whole pieces of silk fabric damp at once so they don't waterspot, but I don't know if that applies to prewashed silk or just silk that is intended to be drycleaned... but it probably doesn't hurt regardless...

Margeret, bet it would look lovely with twisted silk ribbon straps as in Karen Morris' sewing lingerie book. Thx for passing on pre-stretching the straps. Cute fabric, adorable project!
