Sweet! I love it when I "discover" those little details that make sewing easier, too. Like, I just "discovered" that my machine's faceplate has lines on the left side of the needle identical to the right side. Duh. I just got this book for Christmas and it IS beautiful. Can't wait to try some things out. Vielen dank!

Your coasters are cute and useful. And you're absolutely right -- a little wonky sewing definitely adds to the home-made charm. At least that's what I always tell myself....LOL.
