| LoriV | 12/21/07 | Very pretty, I like the color on you. It is a bit boxy, I agree. Something I didn't notice until I wore it for the entire day. |

| Diane E | 12/22/07 | Such a pretty top, Melissa! I hope your dream of an "Alice" comes true. Then could you tell me how you conjured her up? I want one, too. In the meantime, enjoy your holidays in your beautiful new top. |

| tessiesgal | 12/22/07 | Your top looks great, Melissa. Thanks for the hint about the Vilene tape, as I had wondered about that, too. And a word about cleaning house and sewing: My mama used to say, "If I clean this house, it just gets messed up right away. However, I can make a garment, and that garment stays made, and the wearer enjoys it again and again." |

| MelissaB in WA | 12/22/07 | Thanks for your kind words ladies and Tessiesgal, your mom is totally right! I will remind myself of that when my house is in shambles and I want to sew. :-) |

| OP Gal | 12/22/07 | Very pretty top. I wasn't that taken with it when I saw it in the magazine, but your and LoriV's reviews have made me rethink that. I have some drapey jersey that would make up nicely in this pattern. Thanks for the review. |

| Helen (near Sydney) | 12/23/07 | This pattern really suits you, tho I agree the side seams could be curvier - I wonder whether shortening it a little would also make it less boxy???? |

| Linda L | 12/23/07 | Love the top! |

| MelissaB in WA | 12/24/07 | Helen, to make it curvier, I think you just need to add some side seam shaping to the pattern. I don't think shortening it would really help, it's pretty straight up and down the sides. |
