Your top looks great, Melissa. Thanks for the hint about the Vilene tape, as I had wondered about that, too. And a word about cleaning house and sewing: My mama used to say, "If I clean this house, it just gets messed up right away. However, I can make a garment, and that garment stays made, and the wearer enjoys it again and again."

Very pretty top. I wasn't that taken with it when I saw it in the magazine, but your and LoriV's reviews have made me rethink that. I have some drapey jersey that would make up nicely in this pattern. Thanks for the review.

This pattern really suits you, tho I agree the side seams could be curvier - I wonder whether shortening it a little would also make it less boxy????

Helen, to make it curvier, I think you just need to add some side seam shaping to the pattern. I don't think shortening it would really help, it's pretty straight up and down the sides.
