I had decided not to get this mag for the time being, but now am I regretting that decision. Very cute tops. I may 'borrow' the jersey flower petal idea. ;)

Cute T's! I especially like the crossover one! It reminds me of misses' Kwik Sew 2694. Could be cutsie mom & daughter t's. ---Just curious, where did you purchase the foldover elastic, and what method did you use to apply it? I've been interested in trying the foldover elastic in a neckline application like yours, but I haven't seen much but white and black. Yours is such a pretty color. ----Great sewing!

thanks, everyone. MaryBeth, yes I'll just cut off the ribbing and apply another piece, cutting it off will make the hole bigger. Rhonda -- it's a good deal if you do a lot of children's sewing. I have used 5 or 6 patterns from the issue. Debbie, this FOE came from a coop. Email me for details. I use a regular zig zag, you can use a 3 step too. Cut it 1 or 2 inches shorter than the neckline and stretch it very slightly while you apply it. Takes a little practice.

Thanks, Mary, I'll e-mail you. I've had good luck using clear elastic in necklines, but I like the colorful possibilities with this application.

hmmm--ok, I hit the "e-mail" button at the top of this review, and I get some sort of error message about an "internal server error" which makes me in over the top of my limited computer skills. ...maybe if I try later, but I guess I'm stuck at the moment...
