Beautiful! You did a wonderful job with the quilt and I am sure your friend is enjoying her special personalized gift. Great idea of embroidering the sections on one piece of fabric and then cutting out. As I get older...eyeballing doesn't work too well.

How can she not like that? I think it will bring her comfort that whatever rough time she's been through, she has a friend like you who cares enough to make her such a wonderful gift.
