Very nice skirt that looks good on you. I look at this pattern once in a while, but keep telling myself I don't need it. Agree about the hem; I think that a deep hem is appropriate only when the conditions are just right. I don't know why so many patterns call for them.

I like the flippy hemline, too. Thank-you for your suggestion about handling the hemline. Your skirt looks very nice on you!

Your skirt is lovely and hangs perfectly. In the photo, it is not evident that the yoke is emphasizing your hips. I too like a tiny hem at the based of flared skirts. -Lily
