Great review. Very detailed. Who would think that a shell could end up being so involved? But it was worth your effort because the fabric shines through delightfully. Now remember...no showing up the bride!!!

Thanks for your kind comments everyone. I'm just so happy it all came together well and is a "me-only" mother of the bride outfit. I tried on so many RTW outfits that I felt didn't suit me for one reason or another and it's a pleasure to be not only happy with how my outfit looks on me but how comfortable it is to wear.
