Great results! Your version is so cool with that metallic fabric and it looks like your knock-off fits you even better than the original.

I have to agree with MiGo... I think the knock-offs have a much nicer fit! They look fabulous!

Just smashing jeans, Angelia. Love the fabric and the fit. Quite a bit of pizzaz and the right amount of attitude. Lovely. -Lily

Awesome. You did a bang up job! Years ago I made a pants pattern from Louise Baum (spell?) book. They were wonderful and worth everyone of the 29 measurements you took to make them. I'm thinking about making them again. I can't find my original final pattern, but kept a well worn pair of corduroys. I'm going to cut them apart to make a new pattern. I need to do some 'age' adjustments. This website has been very informative. I don't sew much anymore. I was injured and it's painful but sometimes I just NEED to do it. I'm currently making a dress pattern. If it comes out as planned, it will be a 1940's style A-line shirt dress. I'm hoping to do it without a muslin... perhaps a little blouse for starts instead. Getting the sleeves to fit and do what I want is the biggest challenge. I want them to look nice yet I want them to move well. Thanks for the encouragement.
