I too have alot of trouble getting curved waistbands to fit. Basically, I've given up trying to fix the pattern and just started putting elastic through the back waistband. Of course, I also never wear my shirts tucked in.

Well, who can resist a cute little denim skirt? Despite your woes, you ended up with a darling skirt and your topstitching could not be more perfect. Maybe your waistband problems occurred just b/c you didn't realize you'd lost so much weight and changed your shape a bit? I do love the skirt. -Lily
